Albinism- being legally blind

Hello, my name is Deeshia Partin. I am 48 years old and have albinism. I am also legally blind and cannot drive. I live a rich, full, and wonderful life….but not without daily challenges. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with the love of my life, David. We have two amazing sons who are in college. I have definitely made the choice to choose joy and happiness in my life, amidst the challenges that I face as a person who lives daily with a visual impairment. I am an elementary teacher and love every second of my job! My life has granted me the power to appreciate the small things, be flexible, and keep an optimistic attitude.
