Losing my lovely, love filled, extraordinary, husband Louie to cancer.

Louie looked his stage 4 colon cancer in the eyes for 3 years with his girls (myself, daughters and granddaughters) by his side. He remarkably pushed through with his ever present desire…to have more time… until his last moments. It feels like I have learned a lifetime of understanding emotions over the 3 years since his passing. Louie lived big & loved big. Huge. His wealth was his love for his family and he packed a lot of value in the small details of life, which over 42 years of marriage have become our family’s treasures. Miraculously we feel him with us as we continue on, carrying him on. I gratefully stumbled upon finding Kate Bowler when I became curious about podcasts. Kate, your compassion, love, and sincerity pours from your heart into your voice… Thank you doesn’t come close for all you are giving to this world…my very best to you.
