the hate expressed from those in the world that seek power and domination
I am by nature a positive person – just how I am – and yet there has been a lot of yucky stuff in my life that has been “incurable” – I loved being introduced to you through my daughter who read your book after her dearest friend from HS/College died of a melanoma that turned into brain cancer (no cure for being human) – your perspective rang so true for her and she and I are faithful followers. Life has definitely moved me from one who tries to PULL the good from everything to a place now where sometimes you just let life go along as it is WITHOUT pulling or pushing – but allowing it to be as it is (having as little resistance as possible) staying curious about how I am feeling, what I am experiencing, and how I can move through whatever it is with an open heart. (mixing in a little Brene to Kate ) -I hope this attitude and perspective is helping me be more open for others to connect with and I as a result can share a bit more love and light – whether I am on the suffering side or the supportive side.
I SO agree with you that we HAVE to come together as a community – share the tough with the joyous – experience life together not separately – being human is being connected! (Why else would the christian God be explained as the Trinity – a little Richard Rohr here) .
Thanks Kate for all you are doing, sharing, loving, laughing, crying, and being!!!!
